Hyder Abadin
Founder
Hyder founded Feeding Villages after traveling to Kampala, Uganda and seeing first hand the hunger and malnutrition plaguing remote villages. He works to ensure the mission of Feeding Villages is carried out. Specifically, he enjoys building relationships with donors and companies that share the same mission as Feeding Villages. He holds a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Fatima Saifuddin
Co-founder
For all long as she can remember, Fatima has always had a passion and motivation to want to help others. She co-founded Feeding Villages with Hyder, her husband. She will oversee food donation drops to ensure that the food provided is nutritious and balanced. Fatima is a board-certified internal medicine physician currently practicing in the state of Washington.
Salma Abadin
Executive Director
Salma, like Hyder, was impacted by her travels to Kampala. Her deep expertise in implementing and evaluating large scale public health initiatives is extremely useful to Feeding Villages. Salma will help to devise and monitor strategies to assess the health and nutritional impact of programs. Salma graduated with a Masters in Public Health from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis.
Kayizzi Godwin
Field Operations Lead (ug)
Kayizzi leads our Uganda Operations. Highly knowledgeable of the country and landscape, Godwin leverages his hands-on experience in village & community development to build strong networks and relationships with our partner villages. Godwin also serves as director of the Driver’s Trust Foundation, and co-founder of Elimisha Foundation based in Uganda.
